There are maybe six varieties of these. They all look vaguely like this: I can say with absolute certainty, do not eat the cheese flavors. Just don’t do it. You’ll look at the picture on the front, and you’ll think you’re getting something vaguely Kraft Macaroni and Cheese-ish — not, you know, actual food, but pretty [...] $78.47 out of pocket: After the jump, the details! So on Thursday night, I got sick. This was less than pleasant, especially when it became clear late that night that I was sick enough to have to go to the doctor. However, I had some CVS coupons tucked away — get a $25 gift card with every new prescription — and when the doctor [...] Easy, frugal, tasty, and seasonal! I used this recipe, but it’s so short I can repeat it here: Mix together 3/4 cup milk, 2 egg whites, 1 finely chopped apple, 1/2 cup canola oil, 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup flour, 1/2 cup white sugar, 3 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon. (The [...] Awhile ago, peanut butter and jelly were on sale. I like peanut butter and jelly, so I bought some. But I didn’t end up using them for quite awhile, and I felt guilty, looking at them there in the cupboard all “But we’re tasty! Use us!” Finally, I heeded their plea and searched Allrecipes for [...] All this cost $63.78. I went to Victoria’s Secret today as well for another Free Unmentionable, and more and more I am grateful that the ladies who work at that store are so nice to me, even though when they see me coming they probably think “Oh, there she is again, Free Unmentionable Girl.” Especially because [...] I’ll admit, it’s been awhile since I actually had Bagel-fuls, but I remember my first taste like it was yesterday. I paid 50 cents for them. Sadly, I only got to try one, since a miscommunication about the timing of cleaning of the office freezer sent the others to their doom. But it was surprisingly non-terrible. [...] This is what the box looks like: The kind I had were “Molten Caramel Cake,” but you get the idea. It came to me as I was eating a Betty Crocker Warm Delights. I am not proud of this, incidentally. The ingredient list on a Warm Delights box is, like, seven paragraphs of dense text in six-point font, and there are lots of suffixes like “glyceride.” And I am someone who argued passionately earlier in [...] I know, it’s another recipe without a picture. I will never make it as a recipe blogger, clearly. But these are so good, and I wanted to share their delights. Tomorrow, maybe, when I have one for lunch, I’ll take a picture and put it up and then you can see how cute they are. [...] |
