I’m a bit late in putting this update up, but check out my second Super Doubles trip last week: I spent more than I usually do on a Super Doubles trip, but I got a lot of good stuff. Read on! Harris Teeter is having Super Doubles again! Be still my cheap and beating heart. (I love how I managed to immortalize the cat and Jeopardy!, but didn’t remember to turn the ice cream toward the front. Clearly I am not a professional grocery photographer.) Things have been strange around our house since Mr. Jones got a job. Combine his working status with an unexpected tax refund, and it’s almost surreal not having to squeeze every dollar until it screams. These are the results of the first shopping trip in a long time in which I bought a fair number of [...] Would you believe these things were basically free. Well, THEY WERE. That ain’t workin’! That’s the way you do it! As I’ve mentioned before, Olay often provides mail-in rebates when you buy a certain amount of their products (usually totaling $50). And as I’ve also mentioned before, Mr. Jones and I tend to use our credit card rewards points for Amazon gift certificates, which are then used [...] |
