Phase One of my most recent “get paid to buy Olay products” plan is complete! Today I got these in the mail: One is for $25, and the other is for $5. I believe I still have one more $5 gift card coming, plus a check for $20 from Olay. Rite Aid was kind enough to [...] I went to Rite Aid on Sunday and bought three Olay Regenerist skin-care products. I love Olay Regenerist skin-care products. They make me feel as though it’s less obvious that I spent the better part of a decade chain-smoking Camel Lights under bright Texas sunshine. Anyway, usually we use credit-card rewards to get these, but [...] That ain’t workin’! That’s the way you do it! As I’ve mentioned before, Olay often provides mail-in rebates when you buy a certain amount of their products (usually totaling $50). And as I’ve also mentioned before, Mr. Jones and I tend to use our credit card rewards points for Amazon gift certificates, which are then used [...] First things first: Mr. Jones got a job! WOO HOO! I cannot tell you how excited we are. He starts Feb. 8, and I would be lying if I said we weren’t indulging in a little debauchery: We ordered Papa John’s the night we found out, and then last night we went out to eat [...] Awhile back, I bought a bunch of Glade candles. I bought a bunch of Glade candles, honestly, because I love candles, and Target’s deal was just too good: buy 5 at $2.50 each, get a $5 gift card. And (of course) there were coupons. That’s already a good deal, but yesterday’s mail brought the second half [...] |
